As we journey through this road called life, many individuals can only hope to leave an imprint, a mark for those in which we leave behind to remember. But that was not the case for First Lady Katie McGraw, for she didn't just hope, but she did what few have done, she has left a imprint into the lives of the many which was blessed enough to cross her path.
Her smile and warmth was untouchable, as she would begin to enlighten you with Words of Wisdom that only the Lord had given to her to share with so many of us. Although she was a first lady, she was also an awesome spouse to the Pastor, ensuring that his needs were met, living with him as one for the past 49 years, helping and praying as he did the work of God.
A lady set to do the work of the Lord, rather it was instructing her loved ones, those within the congregation. She cared for many, providing baskets of food during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays, or showing extra love by baking a special cake just for you. Ministry was her mission, even during her time of illness, she continued to press toward the mark, praying for those that were lost, encouraging those with a hung down head, never losing focus on the hope, the promise that the Lord made to her so long ago.
Yes this is indeed one life that will dance through the minds of many, who will sit down and reflect on all of the wonderful things that she blessed them with. We along with all those within the community, will truly miss First Lady Katie McGraw.
"Well Done Thy Good and Faithful Servant", we praise God for the time and love we were able to share with you.
Push Play and listen to the First Lady's Favorite song, as song by G.E. Patterson, it will lift up your soul, like it did her's so many times.
